What a fun end to October! For our last day before the Halloween holidays the students had their Halloween parade, completed some science experiments- making Halloween lava lamps, played some Halloween games and enjoyed play time. Well done to all the children and parents who put in a fantastic effort with costumes. Enjoy the break!
Using hands on resources are a really important part of maths. They help us link maths problems to real life while also broadening our minds to find new ways to solve problems. By using manipulatives such as blocks, matchsticks, cubes, lollipop sticks or drawing on whiteboards, it helps us visualise problems that sometimes are hard to understand!
