Space 🌎🚀

For the past few weeks, the Senior Infants have been learning all about Space. The students really loved learning about the planets and astronauts such as Neil Armstrong and Mae Jemison.  Have a look at the students exploring Space and the fantastic rockets they made. 🚀

Bee Keeper Visit 🐝

As always, the students love learning about nature and taking care of the environment. As World Bee Day was just last week, it was lovely to have a visit from a local bee keeper, P.J. We had a look at the bee hive where the bees live and where the honey is gathered, the bee suit, gloves and smoker. The students had lots of questions about the life of the bee and the journey the honey takes to get from the flower to the market.

Working with Clay

The Senior Infants really enjoyed art this week as they got to make their own clay pots. Some students decided to add extra detail and decoration while others decided to add handles. We will leave these to dry and paint them in the coming weeks. Super work by the Senior Infants as all the pots turned out fantastic.

Experimenting with magnets

The Senior Infants love doing science experiments, however they also love free play to discover things for themselves. The students were fascinated (as you can hear in the videos!) with all the cool things magnets can do.
