Ms. Murphy's Third Class

 To celebrate careers week, third class invited visitors from a variety of career backgrounds. Our final visitor, Eoin, is a member of road traffic Garda.  Eoin told us about all the different parts of his job which help keep people safe. He also showed us lots of different equipment he uses to do his job.  Thanks to Eoin for taking time to come and visit us!

Along with our visitors, the students dressed up as a career they may be interested in learning more about. For some, this is a career they might like when they are older. Elaine told us about what her role is as a dental hygienist and what type of things she’s looking out for in people’s teeth. She taught us what to do and what not to do to keep our teeth healthy. Big thanks to Elaine for visiting 3rd class.

We learned why barristers wear gowns and wigs, where they work, work they do on daily basis and what things you might be interested in if you’d like to become a barrister. Thanks to Theresa for the visiting 3rd class!
