Colour Wheels 🔴🟡🔵

 During Art we discovered what happens when we mix the prime colours. The Senior Infants made superb colour wheels using just three paint colours - red, blue and yellow. 

We even got in a little bit of recycling by reusing our paper plates!

Ardrahan Mausoleum Trip 📸

Friday was such a fantastic day that the students took a little trip down to the Mausoleum in Ardrahan. Firstly, this involved a little walk in the nice weather 🚶‍♀️☀️ When at the mausoleum the students looked at the different architecture and learned about its history.  It is great for the children to learn about their local history as well as history on a wider scale.

Sail Car

 Last week, we had visitors to our classroom as some 3rd and 4th class students came to help us make our sail cars. This fitted in great with Science week and also learning about how to take care of the environment.  Our aim was to come up with many ways we can reduce, reuse and recycle.  At the end of the week, the students participated in Sail Car races.
