Fun in the Sun ☀️

 The fantastic weather in June made for a great last month of school. We made use of the sun by doing as much outdoor learning as possible. 

The students even took a walk down to the local pump to learn about where people got their water from in the past.

Rugby Training 🏉

With Rugby fresh in all our minds after this years Rugby World Cup, the students were keen to begin their rugby training 🏉 The students of 3rd & 4th class had their first training session today and got off to a great start. It’s super to see students trying out new sports and finding new interests! Thanks to all at Gort & Connacht Rugby for this lovely experience! 

Grandparent’s Day Baking 🧁🍰

 To celebrate Grandparent’s Day the students chatted to their grandparents to discover their favourite recipes. The students then shared their recipes (and some baking tips) with the class! The students did a fantastic job baking and it was lovely to share with the rest of the school! 

Careers Week- Dress Up 🐎 👨‍🏫 👷‍♀️ 📸

Along with our visitors, the students dressed up as a career they may be interested in learning more about. For some, this is a career they might like when they are older.
