Aistear- The Garden Centre 💐

As February is all about Spring time, planting and the garden, the students explored the Garden Centre in Aistear. The students visited the Garden Centre in role play, did some planting in soil at the sensory station, built garden centres at the Lego table, made flowers with playdough, and used stickers to create garden art. 

This was a really new and enjoyable Aistear theme.

Egypt is a very interesting country to focus on and can be integrated throughout the curriculum, from English to SESE, Art and Drama. The students created fabulous dioramas (shoebox art) focused on Egypt!

Tie Dye 👕🔴🔵🟠

 For our last weeks of school, we got a little bit creative by making loom band bracelets and tie dye. We learned alot with the tie dye and look forward to trying it again in the future.
